Max works on a broad range of corporate matters, including public and private mergers and acquisitions and the admission of securities to public markets. A significant proportion of his work is public company work but he also advises a wide client base on corporate finance matters and on the application of financial services legislation and regulation for companies operating in the field of fund management and beyond.
Max also advises on company financing, particularly on secured and unsecured loan finance and on the provision and raising of finance generally.
He also advises on management agreements, the rules on financial promotion and collective investment schemes.
He has written extensively for clients on the Companies Acts 1989 and 2006, with particular focus on the application of the legislation to public companies.
Before becoming a lawyer, Max studied history.
