Andrew is head of our commercial property section. He has over 20 years' experience in all aspects of commercial property, acting mainly for investors, developers and institutions, including banks and property funds. His particular specialty is advising on funding agreements, options to realise development potential, joint ventures between developers and investors, overages, secured lending and on the setting up of LLPs as tax efficient vehicles to create funds for property investors in the UK.
The current economic climate has encouraged banks and others to re-work their property portfolios to re-structure bad debt through secured lending and Andrew advises on all aspects of this type of re-structuring.
He also has experience of working for landowners and charities on the development of estates, including sensitive issues such as landfill and waste re-cycling. His clients range from leading UK insurers and quoted property plcs to high net worth individuals. Andrew has forged strong connections with leading private wealth management funds and with banks with property portfolios.
