Emily is an Associate Solicitor in the Family Department.

Her work covers all aspects of private family law, dealing primarily with divorce and associated financial and children matters.  She is experienced in dealing with international cases and those involving trusts, high value assets, family businesses and complex share schemes.  Emily also advises clients in relation to private law children issues such as contact disputes and leave to remove applications and has a particular interest in cases with a public law element or those involving a non-traditional family unit.

Further Information:

Emily chairs the firm’s Charity Committee and is a mentor for law students through the firm’s partnership with Coram’s Fields.  Her voluntary work outside of the firm includes A Mile In Her Shoes (a running charity for disadvantaged women), Parkrun and Crisis at Christmas.

In her spare time Emily enjoys running a long way.  She placed 9th lady in the Marathon de Sables in 2015, completed the Ultra Trail Mont Blanc in 2017 and has participated in a number of ultra marathons and Ironman triathlons. She is now one marathon away from completing the Abbott Six Star World Series.  To offset this she also enjoys baking and reading.
