Ane was educated in Denmark and Germany where she obtained a Masters degree in Scandinavian Literature from the University of Freiburg. She obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Law and qualified as a solicitor in 2003 following the completion of her training contract with Payne Hicks Beach.

Ane has developed a breadth of litigation experience covering contractual disputes, intellectual property, company, insolvency and education matters (acting for schools as well as students). She has also advised in connection with financial services law and complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

She is experienced in taking litigation to trial as well as obtaining favourable commercial solutions for her clients through alternative dispute resolution such as mediation.

In addition to her commercial litigation practice Ane has placed particular emphasis on contentious trust matters and works closely with the Private Client department of the firm. She has recently acted in substantial trusts litigation involving complex issues often encountered in trust disputes such as mental capacity, breach of trust and fiduciary duty.

Ane has been described as "bright and tenacious" in the Legal 500 Directory.

She is a member of the London Solicitors Litigation Association. Ane is fluent in German and Danish.
