Fiona was educated at Benenden School and graduated from Exeter University with an LLB. She qualified as a solicitor in 1980. She was previously a partner at Farrer & Co and joined Payne Hicks Beach in 2001 as a partner.

Fiona works with a variety of substantial clients, primarily dealing with family work. She is also Solicitor to TRHs Princes William and Harry and was appointed to the rank of LVO in the 2006 New Year's honours list.
