The Financial Remedies Team of the Year award recognises the firm, chambers or legal organisation that has demonstrated excellence in the field of financial remedies.
The Family Law Workplace of the Year award celebrates organisations that show a genuine commitment to supporting their people while enabling them to deliver outstanding client service and legal excellence.

The shortlisting reflects another noteworthy year for the team, marked by involvement in high-profile and ground-breaking cases, alongside the continued development of the Mental Health & Family Breakdown initiative, which supports vulnerable clients and the professionals guiding them through what can often be an emotionally challenging and distressing period. It also underscores the team’s longstanding commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture and investing in the wellbeing and development of its people.
Led by Nick Manners, the Payne Hicks Beach Family Team has earned a renowned reputation for providing specialist advice and bespoke solutions in complex family law matters for high-profile, ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth individuals. The team includes some of the most respected practitioners in the field, among them Baroness Shackleton, whose reputation and track record place her amongst the foremost family lawyers in the UK and internationally.

Over the past year, the team has continued to act in high-profile and precedent-setting cases, contributing to the ongoing development of family law. The team is regularly instructed in high-profile matters and appears before the Senior Courts, including the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal. It has played a leading role in cases that have shaped the law in several significant areas, including: nuptial agreements, Part III MFPA 1984, treatment of pre-acquired and inherited wealth, special contributions, compensation, the matrimonialisation of assets and the international relocation and return of children.
The Family Law Awards bring together the family law community to celebrate excellence, foster connections and recognise the profession’s vital contribution to society. Since their launch in 2011, the awards have highlighted the achievements and dedication of family law professionals across the sector.
The 2026 shortlist was selected by an independent judging panel comprising leaders from the Family Law Bar Association, Resolution, the Association of Lawyers for Children, and the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, alongside Family Law editors and publishing professionals.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Wednesday 18 November 2026 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, London.
