Payne Hicks Beach Family Law expert Simon Beccle comments for The Times on the introduction of 'No Fault Divorce', linked below with kind permission. The establishment of the Divorce, Dissolution and Separation Act 2020 means 'No Fault Divorce' petitions will be the norm from next week.
Simon, who acted for Tini Owens in the Owens v Owens case which was the catalyst for the reforms welcomes the change, commenting that they "should have been brought in over a quarter of a century ago".
