Payne Hicks Beach announces founder member partnership of Coram’s Fields Connecting Futures Programme

Payne Hicks Beach is delighted to announce that the firm is a Founder Member of Connecting Futures, a brand new corporate membership programme developed by Coram’s Fields.

Coram’s Fields is a registered charity in Camden providing services including a Nursery, Out of School Club, Under 5’s Drop-In and free Youth and Sports Programmes. Their seven-acre park, including football pitches and a basketball court, is an essential community hub where children and young people feel safe and at home. Their facilities and services are a lifeline for thousands of families across our local community, where four in ten children live in poverty.

Payne Hicks Beach has worked closely with Coram’s Fields and their Employability Scheme for several years, providing mentorships, expert advice and opportunities for young people looking to pursue a career in law.

Connecting Futures is for organisations wanting to contribute to the futures of children and young people in central London. The firm’s commitment will provide young people with safe spaces where they can build meaningful relationships and improve their wellbeing. We’ll be building on our existing work with the team at Coram’s Fields to help young people broaden their horizons and improve their employment prospects. We’ll also be getting involved in volunteering onsite at Coram’s Fields.

“The team at Payne Hicks Beach are both proud and excited to be invited to become a Founder Member of Coram’s Fields Connecting Futures programme. Coram’s Fields has been the firm’s chosen charity since 2016 and we have since expanded our partnership to include a mentoring role in the Youth Employability Scheme which has proven to be incredibly popular with mentors and mentees alike.  Like Payne Hicks Beach, Coram’s Fields has a rich, interesting and long-standing central London history and shares our organisations’ core values to invoke passion, promote interest in good causes and provide emotional and practical support in times of need,”  Emily Foy, Senior Associate at Payne Hicks Beach.

As a Founder Member, we’re investing in our local community and ensuring children and young people are not left behind as we emerge from the pandemic.

“We are thrilled to have Payne Hicks Beach as a Founder Member of Connecting Futures. Payne Hicks Beach have been pioneering in their support of our young people through their mentorships, and we’re looking forward to strengthening our partnership. We are so grateful for all Payne Hicks Beach do, including their incredible fundraising. The support of Payne Hicks Beach will help young people to build brighter futures, and also provide vital facilities and services at Coram’s Fields, ” Victoria Lewis, Fundraising Manager at Coram’s Fields.
