Payne Hicks Beach’s Corporate Department further strengthened by new recruit

Leading central London law firm Payne Hicks Beach is pleased to announce the appointment of Sian Stephens as an Associate in the Corporate Department with immediate effect.

Sian joins to strengthen the new offering from Payne Hicks Beach providing advice to organisations on all aspects of data protection law and GDPR.

Sian qualified in 2009 and has developed her expertise and legal practice to focus on all aspects of data protection law, to include compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Sian has worked in London and abroad with a range of SMEs and she has worked with technology companies, in the fintech, fashtech, adtach, medical tech and the Microsoft technology space, and her experience and knowledge extends to comparisons between the GDPR and  privacy laws in the United States including the California Consumer Privacy Act.

The Corporate Department, under the guidance of the Head of Department, Jonathan Gatward, has seen a recent demand for advice on GDPR compliance and this growth justifies the addition of another solicitor to expand the team.

Robert Brodrick, Chair of Payne Hicks Beach, comments:

“I am pleased to welcome Sian to our Corporate Department. Sian’s experience and reputation in her specialised field of law will enable us to service current client demand and to continue growing our capabilities. External recruitment and internal promotions play a fundamental role in strengthening the firm and Payne Hicks Beach is committed to attracting and nurturing talent.”
