Payne Hicks Beach wins again in multiple categories in The Lex 2014/15 survey
Payne Hicks Beach is delighted to announce that it has again won multiple categories in the LEX 100 Student Guide 2014/2015.
We achieved a top ten ranking (and a "Winners" certificate) in seven out of the possible ten categories. The results are as follows:
Position | Category | Score |
1st | Quality of work | 100% |
1st | Client contact | 98% |
1st | Job Satisfaction | 98% |
1st | Stress levels | 85% |
2nd | Firm living up to expectations | 98% |
3rd | Work life balance | 98% |
8th | Friendliness of the firm | 98% |
The guide contains numerous positive comments which again endorses the Firm's status as a leading London law firm and some of those are as follows:
"So, congratulations to PHB, which this year is recognised for both its quality of work and "client focused ethos", the success of which "is reflected in its involvement with high profile and high network clients for whom a trusting relationship is paramount".
"PHB receives top marks as a LEX 100 Winner for job satisfaction, quality of work, client contact, manageable stress levels, friendliness, work/life balance and living up to expectations. If you are looking for a firm that "earns consistent praise from previous trainees" and can provide high quality files and great client contact, then PHB could be the ideal place for you."
"[At PHB] the tasks are much more varied than those of peers at other firms and the quality of work earns top marks. You can look forward to becoming "a really valued member of each team" and getting "real exposure and involvement in very high quality and exciting work".
Online surveys were sent to graduate recruitment managers at the UK's largest law firms and 230 firms agreed to take part distributing the survey to their trainees. Once again, over 3,500 completed surveys were received which makes this the biggest survey of trainee views to date, and which provided a particularly robust sample to analyse. The data from the surveys was processed and analysed by the editor of The Lex 100 publication.
Peter Black, Managing Partner at Payne Hicks Beach said:
"Once again, we are delighted to be recognised for our commitment to training excellence. The Lex 100 survey allows for feedback to be given anonymously and in a way that gives trainees complete freedom to be frank. We highly value our trainees and their contribution to the firm and to know that they feel so positive about their experience at Payne Hicks Beach tells us that the training contract experience we offer is first rate".
Further information about applying for a training contract at Payne Hicks Beach can be found on the trainee section.
