Jessica Henson, Partner in the Dispute Resolution department at Payne Hicks Beach and specialist solicitor advising on trust law chaired ThoughtLeaders4PrivateClient’s webinar in partnership with ConTrA on the topic of exposing bad trustees in a post-pandemic landscape. As chair, Jessica led the panel discussion on:
- Trustees’ duties and how they are impacted by the current landscape
- Claims against trustees and the role of exclusion clauses and anti-Bartlett clauses – and whether these achieve the right balance of liability
- Exposure of fraud and other forms of wrongdoing in relation to trust assets
with speakers from Maurice Turnor Gardner LLP, Rawlinson & Hunter (Cayman), Baker & Partners (Jersey) and Peters & Peters.
All proceeds of the event will be donated to the National Emergencies Trust Coronavirus Appeal.
