His first seat was split between the Employment Department and the Corporate Department. This involved assisting on all aspects of employment law for both employees and employers together with business and commercial advice for high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and private and publically listed companies across a range of sectors. He subsequently completed a seat in the Property Department where he gained experience assisting with both commercial and residential matters for developers, charities, landed estates and high-net-worth individuals. His third seat was in the Private Client Department where he worked on a range of matters involving estate, trust and tax planning.
Charles read Spanish and Portuguese at King's College London, and studied at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile in Santiago and the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro during his year abroad.
Charles was a choral scholar at King's College London. He is also an accomplished violinist and pianist having performed with various national groups in the BBC Proms and Beijing Music Festival, among other renowned concert series.
