The Team
You will join a collaborative and ambitious team consisting of the Director of Marketing & Communications, a Marketing Manager, and a Marketing Assistant, working closely with Partners across the firm.
The Role
This senior role is central to shaping and delivering the firm’s long‑term growth strategy. You will be responsible for embedding a modern, data‑driven approach to business development—transforming how the firm manages its relationships, identifies opportunities, and converts high‑value instructions.
You will:
- Lead the development and execution of firm‑wide business development strategies aligned with growth ambitions.
- Champion CRM adoption (e.g., InTapp), designing processes and training programmes that drive measurable behaviour change.
- Build a culture of proactive contact management, ensuring partners and fee‑earners use insights and touchpoints to deepen client relationships and generate new instructions.
- Conduct strategic market and competitor intelligence to identify opportunities, emerging sectors, and referral networks.
- Work closely with senior leadership as a trusted advisor on business development priorities and growth planning.
- Partner with Marketing, Finance, and legal teams to embed consistent practice‑wide BD discipline.
The Individual
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of commercial acuity, influence, and technical CRM expertise. You will be comfortable working with senior partners, shaping practice priorities, and driving organisational change.
Key Skills and Attributes
- Proven ability to design and implement contact strategy programmes within professional services.
- Expertise in setting up, managing, and optimising CRM systems, with a focus on adoption, reporting, and strategic insights.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior partners and driving firm‑wide engagement.
- Experience translating complex data into actionable BD strategies and long‑term growth plans.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to establish productive networks across UHNW/HNW circles, intermediaries, and referrers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present confidently to boards and senior leadership.
- A track record of delivering revenue growth through structured, insight‑led initiatives.
- Experience negotiating high‑value opportunities or partnerships.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related discipline
