Students are suing UK universities over Covid disruption. Do they have a case? – Ane Vernon for The Financial Times

Ane Vernon, Partner in our Dispute Resolution Team, speaks to the Financial Times about the challenges students will face in this group litigation.

A wave of students are seeking compensation for disruption caused to their studies during Covid or due to industrial action. In a test case against University College London they seek compensation for cancelled lectures, substandard remote tuition and restricted access to libraries, laboratories and other facilities.
