HAMMOUD v ZAWAWI
We acted for the wife in this case. The couple had lived an extremely luxurious life in Oman and later moved to the UK to privately educate their children.
They separated and the husband returned to Oman where he obtained a divorce. Under Omani law, the wife was entitled to very little financial provision. We successfully brought an application for permission to the English Courts to make financial provision following that overseas divorce. We were able to secure for the wife an award of £24,075,000.
