With a practice ranging from mid to ultra high net worth cases, Isabella is regularly involved in complex financial disputes and jurisdictional issues, often including company valuations, trust structures, art aspects and contested nuptial settlements.  She has expertise in pursuing financial assistance for the benefit of children from unmarried parents and is regularly instructed to draft pre-nuptial, mid-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements with a view to limiting future litigation. Isabella also advises on private children matters, including residence and contact disputes as well as leave to remove applications.

Isabella read Classics at Cambridge University before achieving a distinction in the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School.  Prior to joining Payne Hicks Beach in 2014, she completed internships at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and at Christies within their Estates, Appraisals and Valuations Department.  She has a Diploma in Art Law from the Institute of Art and Law, achieving a distinction.  She qualified into the Family department at Payne Hicks Beach in 2016 and became a Senior Associate in 2020. Married name: Isabella Calkin.
