William is an Associate in the Citizenship and Immigration Team.
William has experience in drafting complex representations and preparing detailed evidence in International Protection & Exceptional Cases, including where sensitive political and diplomatic issues are relevant and when appeals and claims for Judicial Review become necessary.
William’s work includes advising on British Citizenship matters, including those involving claims on the basis of intricate family histories and historical legislative unfairness.
He is also able to assist HNW clients from foreign jurisdictions in navigating UK visa applications, including for leave to enter and leave to remain.
William works closely with the firm’s privacy and media and white collar crime teams in order to deliver a bespoke and interdisciplinary service to clients.
William qualified as a solicitor in 2024, having completed his training contract with Payne Hicks Beach between 2022 and 2024. His first seat was in the Dispute Resolution Department, his second seat was in the Family Department, his third seat was in the Citizenship & Immigration Department and his fourth seat was in the Property Department.
He graduated in Classics from University College London before completing his GDL at The City Law School. William then worked as a paralegal for a year before completing an LLM at the London School of Economics and his LPC at BPP Law School.
