Alice is an Associate in the Private Client department. She acts for individuals, families and trustees on a broad range of estate planning, tax, trust and succession issues.
Alice’s practice includes:
- Advising on bespoke estate planning options and preparing Wills, Codicils and Letters of Wishes for UK and international clients;
- Advising on long-term succession planning and structuring, particularly in relation to family run businesses involving complex trust and tax planning structures;
- Advising on the statutory residence test and UK residence issues, particularly the implications of long-term residence in the UK and associated tax planning;
- Advising on the creation of new trusts, as well as the taxation and ongoing administration of trusts; and
- Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Alice completed her training contract with Payne Hicks Beach and qualified into the Private Client department in September 2023. Alice achieved a Merit in the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Advanced Certificate in Administration of Estates in 2025.
Alice graduated with First Class Honours in Archaeology and Anthropology from Magdalen College, Oxford, before completing her GDL and LPC at BPP Law School.
