Naomi is an associate in the employment team, specialising in employment and partnership law.

Naomi advises both employers and senior executives on contentious and non-contentious employment matters. With particular experience in advising employers (multinational and start-ups) on issues including redundancies, guidance on grievance and disciplinary processes and the drafting of contracts of employment (for key hires including c-suite executives and GCs), consultancy and confidentiality agreements, policies and staff handbooks and other day to day HR management issues.

In respect of senior executives and high net-worth individuals, Naomi regularly advises on all aspects of the employment relationship including the review of contractual documents, disputes relating to gross misconduct, sexual harassment and discrimination as well as the negotiating and drafting of settlement agreements and which often include the drafting of internal announcements and/or responses to media enquiries where matters are particularly sensitive and reputational risk is of a major concern. She also has experience in supporting individuals accused of dishonest conduct and attending disciplinary hearings before regulators, including the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Disciplinary Committee.

Naomi is also experienced in advising partnerships/LLPs, partners and LLP members on a range of issues in employment and partnership disputes and exits, including the enforceability of restrictive covenants and the handling of team moves, discrimination, partner conduct and performance issues and workplace investigations which very often involve regulatory (SRA and FCA) issues. She has also assisted in the drafting and reviewing of LLP/partnership agreements.

She has advised clients in a number of sectors including financial services, legal and higher education.

Naomi is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and Association of Partnership Practitioners. She has provided commentary to print and online media, and writes articles for legal and HR publications.

Naomi was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in October 2020, and joined Payne Hicks Beach in 2023.
