Duchess wins High Court privacy case – Radio 4 Today interviews Dominic Crossley

The Radio 4 Today Programme interviewed Dominic Crossley, Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution and Privacy Law Specialist at Payne Hicks Beach, following The Duchess of Sussex’s victory in a High Court privacy action against The Mail on Sunday after it published a letter she wrote to her estranged father. Meghan wrote a letter to her father after the furore over his absence from her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018. It was subsequently published by The Mail on Sunday. The judge also ruled in her favour for breach of copyright, prompting the duchess to hail a “comprehensive win” over the newspaper, which she accused of “illegal and dehumanising practices”.
