Benedict has a wide range of clients across Trusts, Private Clients and Corporates. Benedict’s work focusses on the day to day running and administration of a number of very large family structures, including multiple trusts, individuals, companies and landed estates. Working closely with the Private Client solicitors, and other departments in the firm, Benedict is able to provide the clients with a complete service for many of their complex and varied needs.

Benedict leads a team which covers all aspects of annual trust management and compliance for both onshore and offshore trusts and individuals, including Inheritance Tax reporting, annual trust accounts and taxation, ATED returns, NRCGT returns, as well as setting up new trust structures and winding up structures when efficient to do so. Benedict is also very experienced in administering and running large charitable trusts set up by private individuals and families which are becoming increasingly popular in a more philanthropic age. To that end, Benedict can offer clients a full ‘family office’ service, advising on many aspects of business, trusts, personal taxation, and charitable giving.

Benedict has worked as an Accountant since 2012, training in Audit and Financial Services and qualifying as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA) in 2015. After working in audit for a Top 5 Accountancy Firm, Benedict specialised in Trusts and Taxation, working for two leading London Private Client Accountancy Firms before joining Payne Hicks Beach in October 2019.

Benedict is now a Trust and Tax Director, leading the Trust section of the Private Client Department. Benedict is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW), Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA), and a full STEP Member (TEP) having recently achieved a distinction overall in the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates.
