Andrew has experience of all stages of the litigation process from initial pre-action advice through to trial having assisted with numerous high profile claims in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants.
Andrew has considerable experience in defamation, privacy, harassment and Data Protection Act claims in addition to Judicial Review proceedings. He is recognised for his significant expertise and reputation in the law relating to online publication and data protection and has particular experience in issues concerning GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
The Legal 500 UK has listed Andrew for many years as a “Recommended Lawyer” and is ranked in the current The Legal 500 UK 2020 law directory in the field of Reputation Management and praised for being “diligent and creative” as well as “a name to note for libel, privacy and harassment claims”.
Andrew writes numerous articles and contributions in the national and legal press. He has recently been commissioned by Lexis Nexis to draft practice guidance on data protection legislation.
Andrew read French and Italian at Durham University.
