Amelia joined Payne Hicks Beach in early 2026 and is recognised in the London edition of the 2026 Doyle’s Guide as a “Rising Star”. Prior to this, she worked at Dawson Cornwell and assisted in the cases of Dale Andrew Vince v Kate Vince [2024] EWFC 406 and [2024] EWFC 389, ST v AR [2025] EWFC 4 and BR v BR [2024] EWFC 11 and [2025] EWFC 88.
Amelia principally advises clients on divorce and high-value financial claims with complex corporate structures and international assets that often require a commercial mindset. In addition to this, she has experience in preparing and advising on pre-and post-nuptial agreements that preserve assets upon marriage and Family Law Act and private children proceedings.
She focuses on trying to achieve constructive and early resolutions that feel fair to reduce costs and preserve dignity for everyone involved. She ensures that any court process is strategic and that her clients move forward feeling empowered. She is also building a reputation for her “calm, supportive and assured approach” which makes clients “feel safe, looked after and listened to”. Clients appreciate her “help and views” and are “grateful to have her on their side”.

Amelia read History of Art at the University of Bristol and graduated with a Distinction in her dissertation on commercial architecture during the Weimar Republic. Following this, she completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course with Distinction at the University of Law, whilst working as a paralegal at Withers. She also holds a postgraduate degree from the University of Manchester in Healthcare Ethics and Law. Amelia qualified in 2021.
Amelia is a member of Resolution and YRes, which promotes a constructive approach to family issues that considers the needs of the whole family.
