The Team
The Employment Law Department currently consists of 3 Partners, 1 Legal Director, 1 Senior Associate, 5 Associates, 1 Legal Assistant as well as other support staff.
The Role
The role will be focused on advising on a wide range of employment issues, and undertaking a variety of contentious and non-contentious work including:
- Acting as a lead advisor on complex contentious and non-contentious matters, bridging the gap between associates and partners
- Draft executive contracts, company policies, and providing strategic advice on reorganisations, redundancies, and corporate transactions.
- Manage high-value tribunal litigation,
- Advise senior executives or corporate clients on strategic HR issues,
- Delegate to, mentor and supervise junior associates and trainees to ensure high-quality output
- M&A transactional work, due diligence and corporate support;
- Tribunal / Court work
The Individual
- Have 6-9 years’ PQE in employment law.
- Have a small client following
- Possess both contentious and non-contentious experience and ideally will have acted for both employers and senior employees.
- Have strong academics
- Possess high quality training and experience
- Actively contribute to the growth of the firm by identifying new opportunities and networking
- Will be ambitious, technically strong, hard working, and a good team player.
- Will be confident and sociable as well as discrete when dealing directly with clients.
