2024 eprivateclient NextGen Leaders 2024 names Alex Curran and Adam Woodhouse

Alex Curran, Senior Associate in the Family department and Adam Woodhouse, Senior Associate in the Private Client department, are named as one of the 2024 eprivateclient NextGen Leaders 2024.

The prestigious rankings recognise the leading young private client practitioners, including lawyers, accountants, trustees and other professionals across the UK, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Jersey. We are proud to see both Alex and Adam receive this well-deserved accolade which is a reflection of their expertise in their respective specialist fields of law advising high net worth individuals and families, coupled with their unstinting professionalism and commitment to their clients.

Alex specialises exclusively in family law, with a particular emphasis on cases involving significant wealth. His work routinely encompasses proceedings involving complex asset structures and cases with multi-international dimensions. He regularly deals with child welfare proceedings involving issues such as leave to remove applications, the coaching of children to falsify allegations, international child abduction and biological parentage. Alex is ranked in Chambers High Net Worth 2024 and The Legal 500 UK 2024 and is an integral member of the team which won Family Law Team of the Year at the Chambers High Net Worth Awards 2024. Alex is described by in the legal directories as “a star of the present and the future” and  “really good – he is very empathetic, he really is sensitive to the needs of clients, his clients love him, as his client care skills are second to none.”

Adam is a key member of the Private Client department shortlisted as a finalist in the category of Private Client Team of the Year at the Legal Business Awards 2024, specialising in lifetime and testamentary estate and tax planning, trusts and the administration of estates for both UK-domiciled and non-UK domiciled individuals, lasting powers of attorney, Court of Protection applications and capacity issues. He is praised by clients with one describing him as being a “a highly capable, articulate and trusted advisor”.

This year eprivateclient received just under 500 nominations across the UK, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Jersey and after a meticulous research process reviewing each individuals’ achievements over the past 12 months, career progression and quality, seniority and range of nominations, 86 individuals were selected.

Now in its second year since superseding the annual eprivateclient UK and UK Crown Dependencies Top 35 Under 35, which launched on eprivateclient in 2009, the rankings now better reflect changing trends in the modern workplace.
