Liberal Americans consider moving to the UK after Trump’s win – Kathryn Bradbury for Financial Times and Mail Online.

According to recent media reports, Americans are fleeing the US for Britain because of concerns for their country’s future in the so-called ‘Donald Dash’ after Donald Trump became president

Democrat voters particularly on the liberal east or west coasts are leaving for more liberal countries during Mr Trump’s second term after his inauguration on 20th January 2025.

Kathryn Bradbury, Citizenship and Immigration expert,  reports on the “noticeable increase” in enquiries about UK immigration options for US citizens following Trump’s win. She told the FT that all were ‘Democrats and concerned about Trump 2.0’, with the level of interest even higher than when he was first elected in 2016.
