The Chancellor of the Exchequer continues to face important questions concerning her failure to accurately reflect her career history on Linked In and the BBC has now reported she was the subject of an investigation into her expenses before leaving HBOS under a settlement agreement 15 years ago, which investigation, if it took place, the Chancellor has said she is unaware of.
