Restructuring of multi-jurisdictional corporate group

Payne Hicks Beach acted for four non-UK family trusts in connection with the restructuring of a complex multi-jurisdictional corporate group with interests in a number of South American manufacturing businesses.  

The restructuring included: 

• the transfer of a UK holding company to another member of the group; 

• the distribution in specie by the UK company of shares it holds in various foreign companies; and 

• the onward sale of those shares to a new holding company.
