Jessica Henson and Charlotte Henshall acted, for the successful trustees in the recently decided judgment of Womble Bond Dickinson (Trust Corporation) Limited & ors v Glenn & ors [2021] EWHC 624 (Ch).

eprivateclient acknowledged that the recently decided judgment offered a rare examination of a fundamental piece of legislation for trustees nearly 100 years since its introduction and wrote that the case – which examined the statutory power from first principles – may be recognised as one of the few authorities in the last century clarifying its application.
