- Represented expropriated bondholders following the Dutch government’s nationalisation and bail-in of SNS Reaal NV and SNS Bank NV.

Qualifications & Accreditations
Lucas qualified as a solicitor in 2004. Prior to joining Payne Hicks Beach in July 2018, he was an associate and partner at Jones Day, where he developed extensive experience in international litigation and arbitration. He currently serves as Chair of the Management Board and is recognised as a leading practitioner in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
