After a transformative 7-year tenure, Robert Brodrick will step down as Chair of the Management Board on 1 June 2026. During his time in the role, Robert has provided exceptional leadership, modernising the firm’s governance and steering the firm into a period of record financial growth. He will continue to play a key role in the firm as a Partner in the Private Client team, where he will focus on further developing his highly regarded international practice.
Lucas Moore will assume the role of Chair. Lucas, Partner in Commercial Disputes, takes on the position at an exciting time for the firm and will build on its strong momentum, with a particular emphasis on strategic direction and the expansion of relationships with international and corporate clients. Lucas has been a member of the Management Board since 2024.
The firm is also pleased to welcome Freddie Bjorn, Partner in Private Client, to the Management Board. Freddie brings over 16 years of experience at Payne Hicks Beach and is widely recognised for his work with entrepreneurs, and internationally mobile clients. His appointment reflects the firm’s commitment to innovation and strategic development, and he will contribute fresh perspectives on how the partnership can continue to evolve in an increasingly global and technically connected world.
Kathryn Bradbury has renewed her tenure on the Management Board and will continue in her role, providing ongoing stability and leadership within the firm. Kathryn and Freddie will assume the title Managing Partner as part of the changes.
These changes mark an important step in Payne Hicks Beach’s continued evolution, combining strong leadership continuity with new perspectives to support the firm’s long-term ambitions.
