Rosamond McDowell is a Partner in the Private Client team, specialising in tax and estate planning for individuals, families, trustees and family wealth structures in the UK and internationally, providing advice on complex succession planning, inheritance, trusts, taxation and wealth preservation matters.
Rosamond is particularly recognised for her ability to combine sophisticated technical expertise with practical and sensitive advice, often helping families to navigate complex cross-border planning and succession issues, including the administration of multi-jurisdictional estates. Her practice includes advising on mental capacity concerns, and the resolution of disputes involving estates, trusts and fiduciary duties.
Highly regarded for her unique combination of planning and dispute-resolution expertise, Rosamond advises beneficiaries, executors and trustees in both contentious and non-contentious matters and is recognised as one of the leading private wealth practitioners in the UK.

Qualifications & Accreditations
Rosamond trained at Charles Russell and, upon qualification in 1998, joined Biddle & Co, which later became part of Pinsent Masons. She was subsequently a Partner of Collyer Bristow LLP before moving to Payne Hicks Beach as a Partner in 2014.
In addition to her legal practice, Rosamond is an ordained priest, bringing a distinctive perspective to advising families on sensitive personal, succession and legacy issues.
She is fluent in German and Arabic.
