Overview

Phineas Hirsch is a Partner in the Private Client team, advising UK and international individuals, families, trustees and business owners on sophisticated succession, estate planning and tax matters. His practice focuses on the structuring and preservation of private wealth through wills, trusts and international asset-holding arrangements, with particular expertise in cross-border tax, residence and succession issues.

Qualifications & Accreditations

Phineas trained at Slaughter and May, qualifying into the firm’s Corporate Tax team in 2010. He joined Withers as a Private Client practitioner in 2012 before joining Payne Hicks Beach in 2024.

He became a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) in 2019, having achieved an overall Distinction in the STEP Diploma, and has an Advanced Certificate in Advising Vulnerable Beneficiaries.
