James Townsend, Partner and Head of Employment at Payne Hicks Beach, appeared on Good Morning Britain on GB News for a debate with Andy Jones, Political Commentator, as to whether an Employment Tribunal Judge was correct in his analysis that it should be fair to reject a Spurs supporter for a job in a small work place that predominantly employs Arsenal supporters.
James commented: “Effectively, what the Judge is saying, is employers should be free to recruit people that they want to recruit and that harmony within the office is important.”
